Originally from Inverness, Arron is a multi-instrumentalist and is known as a performer and teacher of Piano, Voice and Accordion. Arron has worked with professionals throughout the industry and has a varied background in Music, Dance and Drama, leading him to study Music at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Arron has worked for various musical theatre organisations as a vocal coach and musical director, with musical direction credits including performances of Mamma Mia! and High School Musical Jr. His own performance credits include ‘Seymour’ in Little Shop of Horrors and ‘Marius’ in Les Miserables as well as composing for musical theatre from time to time.
Arron focuses upon traditional and musical theatre vocals, adopting a mixture of teaching techniques including Estill and Kodaly. Previous students of his have continued training at The American Musical Theatre School in London, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Edinburgh Napier University. Arron has worked as a freelance music teacher in Inverness and Glasgow and, fluent in five languages, throughout Europe as well. He completed his dance training in Latin American dance in Cuba, working with some of the best Cuban dance teachers in the world. Arron also works with performers in managing performance anxiety, with his training in Hypnotherapy and NLP.
