ALISON GILLILAND
Head of Singing
Originally from North Berwick in East Lothian, Ali is an experienced performer and has been a children’s vocal coach and teacher for over 13 years.
She has a first class honours degree in music education and is currently Principal Teacher of Music at Fortrose Academy. Ali also has a background in dance and spent a year studying with the Scottish Dance Theatre in Dundee.
Ali has been a regular singing teacher at TFX for ten years as well as being involved in many other local, regional and national productions.
Her private pupils have performed on the West End; have gained places at theatre schools and have studied at musical conservatoires, including the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester and the newly named Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
