Emma trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts & Second City, Chicago. USA

Currently working as Assistant Director/Choreographer ‘The Tiger Who Came Tea’ West End & the UK & International Tour. Also Producing a short film ‘Inverted Journey’.

In 2016 and 2021 Emma was nominated for a Carl Alan Award for choreography in theatre. In 2012 her show ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’ was nominated for an Olivier Award:

Emma also works with World Champion Latin dancers on story telling through movement and dance.

A.I.S.T.D (Tap and Modern) A.L.A.M. (Lamda qualified teacher)

Emma started her  career as a commercial dancer working for Brian Rogers in Theatre and TV and went onto work with Canadian Choreographer Trudy Moffat both here in the UK and in Canada.

Dance background: Started dancing at the age of 2 and studied Ballet, Tap, Modern, Gymnastics, Stage Craft, Ballroom, Latin and Disco. Took exams in these subjects in IDTA until I was 18 years old up to advanced level. Even won World Champion Disco Dancer in the solo section at Hammersmith Palais in 1982!!! My Mum: Frances Clayton taught me all from 2 years old In everything IDTA apart from Latin & Ballroom which Miss Kathleen Gollin taught me all on this.

At 18 I then went on to study at the Italia Conti Academy in London and studied Modern, Tap, Ballet and National Dance in the ISTD syllabus up to and including advanced levels. Alongside all the other amazing dance styles on offer.
