Sophie Wink
Drama & LAMDA
Sophie Wink (she/her) is a local Creative Learning Practitioner and emerging playwright,
who is delighted to be a part of the TFX team. She started her training in Inverness at UHI:
BA(hons) Drama & Performance and has since stayed building upon her creative practice
with children and young people.
Sophie is truly dedicated to ensuring that drama is brought to children and young people in
the North of Scotland! Most notably, she has worked with Lyth Arts Centre since 2023
developing and leading the Drama Drop-In programme which has grown from 5 participants
to up to 20. Sophie is a Co-Founder and the Creative Learning Officer of Vivid Roots
Collective; regularly working with Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) using drama as a
tool to bring life and work skills into schools. She has worked with many other organisations
and companies in a creative learning capacity such as: Traverse Theatre, Eden Court, Steph
Smart Performing Arts and Dogstar Theatre. She is also in the process of developing her
debut play “How to Train your Dad to be a Feminist”
.
Sophie has most recently been accepted onto the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s MA in
Creative Arts Practice and is excited to be starting this course in September 2025.
